logo City of ZagrebZagreb is the capital and the largest city of the Republic of Croatia with a population of 790 017. It is at the same time a unit of local and regional administration. By decision of the Zagreb City Assembly from the 30th of October 2008, the City of Zagreb joined the Covenant of Mayors as one of the first European capitals and also became the Covenant Supporting Structure on 27th of April 2009. As part of its regular activities, City Office for Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development is authorized to conduct activities in the field of energy and environmental and climate protection.
